Ruto strategy to stay in power beyond 2027 revealed

Ruto will be in power after the 2027 general elections according to revelations by his ICT CS Eliud Owalo

Ruto will be in power after the 2027 general elections according to revelations by his ICT CS Eliud Owalo.

On Sunday, April 16, Eliud Owalo, the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication, and the Digital Economy, requested residents of Nyanza Region to join the ruling party, stressing that President William Ruto had developed a plan to win the 2027 General Election.

Owalo, who has worked as an aide to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, spoke at his home in Asembo, Siaya County.

Owalo while hosting farmers from the area said that the Head of State was tenacious in ensuring adequate service delivery across the country during his first term.

“Let us talk about the politics of the economy. And let me give you a clue. Ruto’s government will also form the 2027 government based on the delivery to the citizens.

“We will deliver to the masses and get a resounding yes in 2027,” stated the economist.

To ensure his success, Owalo further noted that Ruto’s appointees would work tirelessly to ensure he delivers on his campaign promises.

“The President has given us the script and we have taken the queue from him that the mandate of the Kenya Kwanza government is to address the challenges facing the citizens.

“As his appointees, we are ready and willing to do everything that is humanly possible to make sure that within this term of the government, we have a fundamental change in the Nyanza Region in the way of economic development,” added Owalo.

The farmers, who were in attendance, urged the government to pass the sugar bill to make it possible for the re-introduction of the sugar development levy and board.

Owalo promised the attendees who were drawn from the cotton, rice, and sugar sectors that the government would support them in increasing their productivity.

Earlier, the CS had met teachers union officials from the lake region in a bid to persuade them to ditch the opposition coalition.

Owalo was not the only member of the ruling party who was in the Nyanza region on Sunday.

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Secretary General Cleophas Malala was also busy in Siaya and urged the residents to support Ruto’s government in fostering development.
