DP Gachagua says President Ruto will easily win 2027 presidential election owing to his solid credentials

DP Gachagua says President Ruto will easily win 2027 presidential election owing to his solid credentials.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua hinted that President William Ruto will easily win the 2027 general elections as he urged Busia locals to support the ruling coalition.

Gachagua asserted during a tour to Busia County that President Ruto’s strong delivery credentials would ensure a smooth sail among his rivals and allow him to serve Kenyans for two constitutional mandates.

“If you sow for an year to the next and still fail to reap. Will continue sowing really? You will either change the crop or the farm,” he stated.

“You left this young man (Ruto) and went to Maandamano Mzee (Odinga) all this year since 1997-2022 you have lost with him. What math do you do?”

DP Gachagua wooed the Busia residents who traditionally channel their support Azimio La Umoja Leader Raila Odinga to join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance bandwagon come the next general elections.

“What lose will you have to join Ruto, just join this young man come the next polls. If in 2022 he defeat Raila despite him having Uhuru, the State and the Police.2027 will be a smooth sail,” Gachagua said.

“We thank Wetangula and Musalia for seeing the light and joining Ruto. Now Musalia is the prime minister and Wetang’ula the Speaker of the National Assembly. Open your eyes like them and join leader who will be successful,” he added.

Western region has for long been considered a stronghold of Raila judging from the number of votes it gets from the region in elections.

In the general elections of 2007, 2013, and 2017, Odinga won the majority of the votes cast in the region for his presidential campaigns while also garnering the most MPs.
