According to reports, the accident happened after a Toyota Probox collided head-on with a trailer along the Kericho-Nakuru highway on Monday evening.
The trailer which was traveling towards Kericho from Nakuru, collided with the Probox, causing it to split into two upon impact during the 7.15 pm crash.
A male survivor from the Probox sustained serious injuries and was swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent medical attention.
Florence Boke, an emergency response officer from Kericho County, said the seven victims died at the scene.
