Sons hack to death their 60-year-old aged father in Kisii County
Two sons have hacked to death their 60-year-old aged father on Sunday in Kisii County.
Two brothers are being sought by police in Kiamisori Bogetunya village, Kisii county, for the death of their 60-year-old father on Sunday.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Boniface and Getaro Osoro assaulted their father early in the morning and then fled.
At the scene of the crime, police discovered a slasher and a kitchen knife.
“Boniface Osoro Saisi alias Bob and Getaro Osoro disappeared immediately after the 9 am incident, dropping along with a slasher and a kitchen knife believed to be the killer weapons,” DCI said.
Concerned neighbors discovered the elderly guy in a pool of blood after hearing wails and commotion.
His left collarbone, chest, and right wrist all suffered significant incisions.
“The suspects sneaked away before responders could pounce on them.”
Police are looking for the two sons while also trying to find out what caused the cold attack.
They also urged members of the public to come forward with any information that could lead to their arrest.
“Should anyone have information that may assist in the arrest of these suspects,” DCI said.
