An eyewitness, a resident of the area where the tragic helicopter crash has spoken of the crash, has recounted how they helped the victims.
In an interview with NTV, the man claimined to have helped a survivor of the helicopter crash.
The eyewitness recalled moments the helicopter arrived in the area as they were working and did not pay attention to it.
“It was a time like this around 10 am we were working. It came and landed in a high school,” he said.

Hours later, he claims that the chopper’s propellers were not working, and they thought that the helicopter was landing.
“At around lunchtime, we saw the chopper and the propeller were not moving so people thought it was landing. We decided to run and save those people.
Following the trajic accident, it was revealed that Chief of Defense Forces Francis Ogolla was among the victims of the crash.
Ogolla died alonside other nine of the military personnel while one survived.
