Following a spectacular altercation in a pub in Sotik, Bomet County, on Saturday, four flash grenades were recovered and two Kenya Defence Forces troops were taken into custody.

According to the police report, they were found with four sound grenades, police aware of the incident said.

Locals had complained there were loud bangs at the Chebole trading center.

According to the police OB, one of the soldiers was on a weekend off while the other was on leave.
