Former president Uhuru Kenyatta extended family has been thrown into mourning the death of Margaret Kenyatta’s brother.
Uhuru’s brother-in-law, William Gakuo, breathed his last on November 6; he was former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta’s brother.
He was brother to four others namely Gabriela, Maina, Anna, and Christine.
The cause of his death was not disclosed.
“It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of William Gakuo,” an obit message published in a local daily partly read.
The deceased was the husband of Sheila Wanjiku Mwangi.
Little was known about Gakuo.
It is, however, in the public domain that he attended the same school as Uhuru Kenyatta.

The duo schooled at the prestigious St Mary’s School, where they became friends.
The former president is on record stating that he met his wife through Gakuo.
Friends and family would meet at the deceased’s home in Karen on Saturday, November 9,l and Sunday, November 10, for send-off arrangements.
The deceased is slated for cremation at the Hindu Crematorium in Kariokor, Nairobi.
