Wamuchomba fires back at Malala “It will be bumpy and itchy!”

Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba hits back at UDA SG Cleophas Malala over his statement warning her and two other leaders of disciplinary action
Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba hits back at UDA SG Cleophas Malala over his statement warning her and two other leaders of disciplinary action.
In her response to the alleged defiance of party leadership, Wamuchomba said the UDA party stands for liberty which she is obliged to follow.
“My party is called the United Democratic Alliance meaning the party is founded by democratic principles mainly liberty and equality. You have the Liberty to do the needful,” Wamuchomba said.
“I’m happy you have started the journey; it will be bumpy and Itchy. We don’t buy fear, we die while chewing razor blades. You touch the hill you shake the mountain,” the outspoken UDA legislature said on X late Wednesday.
Wamuchomba claimed the genesis of her inclusion on the list of party members alleged to be disrespectful is her attendance of the Limuru 3 where a section of Mt Kenya leaders advocated for a one-man-one-vote one-shilling mode of revenue share.
“What was your problem? come clear,” she said.
Malala on Wednesday said he is deeply concerned by reports of indiscipline amongst a section of elected leaders in UDA, specifically Wamuchomba, Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi, and Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga.

In a statement, Malala accused the three leaders saying their behaviour will not be tolerated as they go against the UDA party ideals.
Malala insisted that their actions amount to not only undermining the party’s unity but also disrespecting the leadership they pledged to serve.
Wamuchomba has openly opposed various key policies by the Kenya Kwanza administration including the proposed Finance Bill, 2024.
In January, the Githunguri MP said she has no apologies for defying some of Kenya Kwanza’s policies.
Wamuchomba said most of her views are informed by where and how she was brought up and schooled.
