Man City following up on £34.9m center-forward with 10 goals in 14 starts

Man City are following up on £34.9m Swiss center-forward, Noah Okafor, who has 10 goals in 14 starts this season.

According to reports, Manchester City are reportedly showing an interest in the Swiss center-forward to sign him in the next transfer.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports says, Noah Okafor is a target for the Premier League’s reigning champions, however AC Milan and Liverpool have also expressed interest.

Mid-season moves are frequently challenging to complete, but Plettenberg claims a £34.9m January deal is feasible.

The 22-year-old joined RB Salzburg in 2020 after leaving FC Basel, and since then, he has made 100 appearances across all competitions, making 34 goals and providing 20 assists.

Clubs are paying note as Okafor has been in excellent form this season, tallying 10 goals and two assists from 14 starts in all.

But it remains to be seen whether Man City would actually make a move for another center-forward.

Guardiola has already said there won’t be new signings in January and Okafor wouldn’t walk into the starting eleven with Haaland and Alvarez for company.
