Man beaten to near death by a woman over Manchester United derby loss

A man rushed to hospital after being assaulted by a woman over the Manchester derby game on Sunday.

A man in Kawangware, Nairobi, was attacked by a woman as Manchester United supporters endured more humiliation following the derby loss to City neighbors.

As per the police report, the duo engaged in a confrontation during the first half when Manchester United had already taken the lead thanks to a spectacular goal from Marcus Rashford.

The man was severely injured after the woman overpowered him and struck him in the forehead with a jagged granite stone, following a brawl that turned violent.

Locals at the scene managed to separate the duo and rushed the victim to Sudi Medical Clinic where he received first aid.

He was subsequently referred to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for specialized treatment.

Police officers attached to Muthangari Police Station were quickly dispatched to the scene to restore order.

Preliminary investigations established that the duo differed over the results of the game after the first 45 minutes.
