Deputy President Kithure Kindiki was no show at Ruto’s New Year Party at Kisii State Lodge.
President William Ruto hosted a New Year’s party at the Kisii State Lodge on Tuesday, December 31, which was attended by the country’s high dignitaries.
However, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s absence from the highly publicized party did not go unnoticed.
While the president shared details about the event on his social media, his deputy posted nothing about it.
Kindiki instead used his platforms to wish Kenyans a happy 2025.
“Happy, blessed, and joyous 2025. God bless your families, and God bless Kenya,” Kindiki’s statement read.

Kindiki’s absence sparked speculation among Kenyans, with many questioning whether a rift had developed between him and the president just months after his swearing-in as deputy president.
This led to questions about whether history was repeating itself, as, like his predecessor Rigathi Gachagua, Kindiki has begun missing events attended by Ruto.
According to Kenyans fueling the Speculations, the Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua also started missing state events with President William Ruto before things turned from bad to worse leading to his impeachment.
