Kangata launches health centre Earlier, Kang’ata earned widespread praise after a video showing his humble launch of Thuita dispensary went viral, with Kenyans applauding his simplicity, direct engagement with residents, and focus on service delivery over flashy politics.

The modest ceremony, in contrast to the extravagant launch events often seen across Kenya, resonated with citizens frustrated by corruption and wasteful government spending.

Social media users commended Kang’ata for delivering healthcare infrastructure despite financial constraints, highlighting his results-driven leadership and calling him a rare example of a leader who works for the people, not investors.
