Ten Hag Speaks on Ronaldo’s future at Man Utd

Ten Hag Speaks on Ronaldo’s future at Man Utd Ending Much Speculations About His Uncertainty.

Incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag addressed the future of forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old Portuguese footballer has scored 24 goals in 38 outings since rejoining Manchester United last summer.

His future has been uncertain following a disappointing season that saw Man United drop out of Champions League contention and extend their five-year trophy drought, according to Goal.

According to Caughtoffside, there has been a lot of discussion about whether or not the footballer would fit in with Hag’s style of play because of his age.

Ronaldo is valued highly by Ten Hag, who has made it clear that he admires the player.

After Ajax’s final game of the season on Sunday, Hag said that now his “focus will be on United, and I will of course get deep into things there.”

He shared that what he has to say about it is, “the detailed analysis still has to begin, I still have to work with the team, but let me be clear that at United there are a lot of good players around.”

He added that they have to make the good players function as a team but definitely “Ronaldo, he is a giant.”

As for Ronaldo, he said that he’s looking forward to working with ten Hag at Old Trafford next season.

The footballer said that he knows that the manager has done a “fantastic job at Ajax and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time.”

According to him, things must change the way ten Hag wants, and that if you do well, “all of Manchester United will succeed, so I wish you all the best.”
