Cristiano Ronaldo “furious” over Man United’s slow transfer business

Cristiano Ronaldo “furious” over Man United’s slow transfer business this summer with no arrivals so far.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is reportedly concerned by Man United’s transfer window.

According to AS, Ronaldo is apprehensive about the upcoming campaign, which could mark one of his last at the elite level.

The 37-year-old forward reportedly believes there should be more reinforcement after United experienced their worst ever Premier League season.

The arrivals of Haaland at Manchester City or Darwin Núñez at Liverpool, among other operations, make Cristiano fear that Manchester United’s disadvantage with respect to its rivals could be even greater next year.

The Portuguese star was determined to fulfill the remaining year of his contract at Manchester United, despite not having entered the Champions League, but at the moment he has doubts.

Ronaldo wants reinforcements, but it does not seem that the club is going to face the renewal of the squad that he considers necessary.

Meanwhile, Man Utd could perform a swoop for an Ajax star this week with Antony and Edson Alvarez’s moves being touted.

Antony remains the higher-priority transfer but Mexico star Alvarez is also on United’s radar.

SunSport revealed earlier this week that United are close to landing a £40million deal for the Amsterdam club’s winger Antony.
