Arsenal target Serge Gnabry reacts to Bayern Munich’s threats to freeze him out as Mike Arteta issues transfer verdict.

Serge Gnabry is not impressed by Bayern Munich’s threats to leave him “in the stands” if he doesn’t sign a new contract.

According to Kicker, a German publication; Bayern are considering freezing him out as they’re concerned he will run down his current deal, which expires next year.

Gnabry has been linked with his former club Arsenal and Arteta is said to be monitoring the situation.

Both Liverpool, and Manchester United are also interested.

Kicker claims he is indeed comfortable with the financial terms of Bayern’s contract offer, but he thinks the club administration has treated him unfairly and wants better treatment.

Gnabry is currently on holiday and he is expected to make a decision on his future when he returns.

Arsenal reaches Serge Gnabry verdict

Arsenal are reportedly considering a firm approach for Serge Gnabry amid claims the winger will become their top target after Raphinha snub.

Arteta is also looking to bring in a new winger to replace Nicolas Pepe who’s destined to depart after a disappointing spell.

According to 90min, Arsenal have a solid interest in re-signing Gnabry.

The Germany winger played for Arsenal for five years between 2011 and 2016 before moving to the Bundesliga, where has enjoyed great success.

He has 63 goals in 171 appearances for the Bavarians.
