Arsenal preparing Sterling bid from Manchester City
Arsenal preparing Sterling bid from Manchester City with the winger yet to reach an agreement over a new deal.
According to rumors, Arsenal are considering a move for Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling.
Mikel Arteta has stated that adding a new striker is one of his main goals for the summer transfer season, but the Arsenal manager is open to bolstering other parts of his attack as well.
Sterling, on the other hand, has just a year left on his City contract this summer, and the 27-year-old has yet to commit to a new term.
Arsenal have started talks to sign Gabriel Jesus, and it is thought that the Brazil international has expressed an interest in reuniting with Arteta, with whom he previously worked at City.

Arsenal preparing Sterling bid
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are monitoring Sterling’s situation and would be ready to make a move this summer if the winger was made available by City.
The report claims that Arteta would be willing to make Sterling a ‘focal point’ of Arsenal’s attack, although the move is dependent on the Gunners qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Speaking about Sterling’s future earlier this season, Guardiola insisted that the England international is a ‘key player’ for City.
‘Nobody doubts how important he is. He is showing that. What I want is for all the players to play good,’ Guardiola said in February.
‘If we count the amount games he played since we are together, it is a lot. He was a key player. In the future? I don’t know what will happen. The club decides.
‘When the club extends contacts, I give my opinion, but the club takes the decision, always.’
