Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua held talks with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, People’s Liberation Party leader Martha Karua and Safina Party leader Jimi Wanjigi.
In the meeting held on Tuesday, March 4, DAP-Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa, Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka and Morara Kebaso were also present.
According to Onyonka, the meeting held in the morning was part of their ongoing consultations as they seek to form an alliance that will challenge President William Ruto in 2027.
“Consultations have started; we will listen to each and every Kenyan as we gather ideas on how we are going to move our country forward,” the Senator wrote on his X account.
“We are ready to unite under a common purpose to liberate our people,” Karua added.

On the other hand, Morara added that he was present at the meeting to push for the agenda of the youth.
“A working breakfast with leaders of Kenya to dissect the past, understand the present and create the future,” Morara added.
“I continue to advocate for justice for the youth of Kenya, access to education, jobs and opportunities to live work and grow in a country free from corruption.”
Notably, the meeting comes after the leaders attended the launch of Karua’s party, where they indicated that they were keen on fielding one presidential candidate.
