“I already have a copy unlike that for Azimio. I will transverse Kenya campaigning for William Ruto as I believe he is the best president to take Kenya forward,” he said.

In his address, Mutua also says that the coalition had been mistreating small and upcoming parties.

Governor Alfred Mutua also said that as Maendeleo chap chap party, they have not been given or assigned any roles.
Mutua said that they have written five letters to Azimio without any reply. None of the letters got any feedback from the Coalition.
“We are no part of any decision-making processes on issues involving the coalition. We just hear these things on the media like everybody else yet we are part of the coalition. It has turned into a group of friends who meet for tea and make decisions,” Mutua aired his grievances to the public.
Alfred added that they will still defect from the party even if the court bars them according to the law.
He argued that the court cannot be in a position to let them be in a party they are not comfortable in.
Governor Mutua further added that he believes Ruto is the best candidate to transform Kenya and he will move around the country to campaign for him.
