KCPE 2021 Performance: The most improved primary schools per region and mean grades posted by the schools.
The results of the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination were revealed on Monday by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha.
Magoha emphasized the best improved public schools in each region, which had more than 50 candidates, in his speech.
He stated that there has been a significant change from the 2020 examinations.
KCPE 2021 Performance by regions
Coast region
Kambi ya Waya Primary school was the most improved school with 266 marks means score, up from last year’s 203 marks.
Central region
Jenga Karume Primary School had a 248 mean score against 207 in the 2020 exam.
Eastern region
Ngukuini Primary school marked an improvement with a 250 mean score from 165 in2020.
Nairobi
Cheleta School got 263 against 213 mean mark in 2020.
Lenkishon Primary School in the Rift Valley region scored 272 marks from 198 marks.
Western region
Kewa DEB posted an improvement after scoring a mean grade of 284 from 216 marks in 2020.
Nyanza
Nyangiti school had a mean score of 232 from 170 marks in 2020.
North Eastern
Mandera DEB scored 270 from 180 marks.
