Miguna Miguna takes on Ruto Kenya Kwanza administration over its failure to fulfill their pledges and missed opportunities

Miguna Miguna takes on Ruto Kenya Kwanza administration over its failure to fulfill their pledges and missed opportunities.

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has asked Kenyans to stop from offering justifications for the government of Kenya Kwanza’s shortcomings.

In a statement on Tuesday, Miguna asserted that the government, led by President William Ruto, has fallen short in providing hope to the people by neglecting to address their most pressing issues within the first 100 days.

Miguna emphasized that the current regime has failed to instill confidence among the populace.

“New governments are supposed to engender confidence in the people by being transparent, accountable and sensitive to the people’s needs and aspirations. The Kenya Kwanza government hasn’t done this,” Miguna said during an interview on Look Up Tv.

Drawing attention to purported faults of the Kenya Kwanza government, the Miguna denounced the government for wasting its first 100 days in office by selecting people he characterized as crooked, incompetent, and selected with preference because of their tribal ties to the senior leadership.

As a result, Miguna claimed, Kenyans have lost hope and now expect the next four years to be marked by the same patterns of corruption, tribalism, and regression that have characterized the country for the previous 60 years.

“One of the worst failures of the KK government is its penchant for appointing dead woods whose only qualifications are tribe and sycophancy. That’s a tragic failure,” he said.

Pointing out another failure, Miguna noted that the government has failed to address the issue of corruption.

He explained that the State has failed to quickly apprehend, try and jail architects of impunity who are well known by even children and peasants in the villages.

“Most Kenyans have rejected the excuses being peddled as the basis for the refusal to charge, try and jail culprits- and recover all the looted public wealth,” Miguna said.

Miguna Miguna further criticized the government’s reluctance and negligence to return trillions of shillings of embezzled funds home and utilize them for manufacturing, infrastructure development, job creation, debt repayment, and the eradication of poverty.

According to Miguna, this will force the populace—particularly those who supported the administration—to renounce their allegiance for the ruling class and begin organizing for the conflict’s next stage.
