Police bust Kisii man wearing woman’s clothes after he was allegedly accused of steaking a phone.

A man is being held in Kitutu Central after he was found impersonating a woman.

Felix Okemwa Morienga had earlier been accused of stealing a phone when his tricks were discovered.

According to a police statement, Felix had been working as a ‘waitress’ at a hotel in Nyamataro.

On Friday, a customer lost their phone after visiting the pub, prompting the management to report the matter to the police.

The customer camped at the establishment searching for his phone, and all the while suspecting Felix as the one having taken the phone.

Felix however denied having seen the phone but decided to run away after further interrogation.

The locals then mounted a chase after the 19-year-old and managed to arrest him.

While walking him to the Nyakoe Police Post, the members of the public discovered he was a man, but dressed in women’s regalia.

It is believed he was using his fake identity to trick and con unsuspect men visiting the hotel.

The officers at Nyakoe sought to know how he implemented his trick without being caught.

He told them that he identified himself as Felister in front of the customers at the hotel.

The officers forced him to undress to confirm he was not a woman.
