A Moi University Bus has been involved in a road accident along the Nairobi- Nakuru Highway.
The accident happened in Limuru on Wednesday, March 27 where the bus was reportedly ferrying students to an academic trip to Mombasa.
From videos and images shared online, the bus landed on the ditch on the side of the road before overturning.
The students who were on the bus were recorded escaping from the widows while others received help from onlookers who rushed to the accident scene.
Reports indicate that the students were heading to Mombasa for an academic trip before the accident occurred.
No casualties have been reported yet as police and the school management were yet to issue a statement on the accident.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident as injured students receive treatment at nearby hospitals.

The incident comes days after several students from Kenyatta University lost their lives following a tragic accident in the Maungu area.
Speaking at the memorial service held at the university on Sunday, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu stated that the Ministry of Education shall continue to collaborate with the school and the injured victims in hospitals.
“To those who are in the hospital we will be able to assist each other in all ways possible and we ask them to be strong so that they can be able to leave the hospital,” he said.
Machogu expressed his condolences to the friends and families of the deceased students of the tragic accident. He also extended his sympathies to the Kenyatta University fraternity.
