The mother disclosed in a statement that her lone child vanished on December 20 at approximately 4 p.m.

She reported her child missing to the closest police station as soon as she heard about it, and ever then, she and her loved ones have been looking for her son.

“I am so stressed, if you met with him on the road please inform me. If you have my boy please return him to me, I will appreciate it,” she appealed in a statement initially.

In a statement, the mother revealed that the news had left her heartbroken and wondering why anyone would cause such cruelty to an innocent child.

The child’s body has since been taken to the mortuary ahead of an autopsy and burial.

“You have died a painful death, my son. You have left us too early, may those who did this be held culpable,” she wrote.

The mother revealed that the family requires Ksh15,000 for the autopsy to be conducted and to make funeral arrangements. She, therefore, appealed for help from well-wishers.

The mother suspected that her son may have been strangled before his body was dumped at the site based on the marks on his neck.
