President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have each scored a D according to the latest performance rating by Infotrak. 

According to the poll, Ruto scored a D (46 percent) in his performance rating in May.

This was a drop from a score of C (52 percent) in March.

Additionally, Ruto scored 48 percent in his ability to communicate to Kenyans what he is doing. 

On Ruto’s competency and ability to deliver on assigned duties, the President scored 47  percent. 

Ruto scored 45 percent in his ability to address the issues affecting Kenyans.

Gachagua’s performance score also dropped from 48 percent in March to 42 percent in May.

Gachagua scored 42 percent when it comes to his ability to communicate to Kenyans what he is doing. 

He also scored 42 percent in his ability to deliver on assigned tasks. 

Quantitative interviews were conducted through Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI).

There was a +2.5 at 95 percent degree of confidence with 92 percent response rate.

The survey released on Monday also saw Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kithure Kindiki ranking as the best-performing officer with grade B (60) followed by his Sports counterpart Ababu Namwamba (51).

InfoTrak lead researcher Johvine Wanyingo added that three Cabinet Secretaries, Soipan Tuya (Forestry), Aden Duale (Defence), and Eliud Owalo (ICT) tied with 48 marks.

Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi came last with grade E (39) after Energy CS Davis Chirchir.

Wanyingo added that the sum grade on performance for the cabinet is a D.

Likewise, Parliament, the Judiciary, and the opposition have scored a D in performance.

The survey was conducted among a sample of 1,700 respondents aged 18 years and above at the time of the survey.

The survey which covered all the 47 counties and eight regions of Kenya was conducted between May 23 to 29.
