Ruto planted spies within Raila Odinga’s inner circle to scuttle his ambitions according to Azimio presidential chief agent Saitabao Kanchory.
Azimio presidential chief agent Saitabao Kanchory claimed President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza allegedly had spies into Raila Odinga’s closest circle in an effort to subdue him.
On January 26, Kanchory said that several of Raila’s associates had misled him at the direction of the Kenya Kwanza government in an interview with Spice FM.
He specifically questioned why Raila had called for rallies on a Sunday yet they would not be effective.
However, he did not mention those involved in the sabotage scheme.
“Ruto said that he would plan and organize the opposition. I take that very seriously because it also involves those people you talk to. They are sent to you.
“When Raila talks about Sunday rallies, what will they accomplish? It has to be a Monday. Make it daily. Those are instructions the insiders are taking from another side,” Kanchory alleged.
He provided an example, however, in which important details regarding their whistleblower report were made public despite a promise that everything would be kept under wraps.

“For example, when Baba called some of us and told us about the whistleblower, that information was not supposed to be public until a certain point. In a matter of days and weeks, the information is viral. It tells you that the inner circle is leaking,” he stated.
As a result, he advised Raila to switch teams if he wanted his anti-Ruto action plans to be successful.
Kanchory has made it clear that he disagrees with Raila’s most recent action. He observed that there was no obvious strategy.
This was after the ODM boss indicated that Azimio would not recognize the legitimacy of Ruto’s presidency.
“Raila Odinga should give a clear way forward or hold his peace. Kenyans don’t have time for games,” Kanchory stated on January 23, immediately after the Kamukunji rally.
