Ruto has agreed to give Raila 10 PS slots – Gachagua

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now says President William Ruto has agreed to give former Prime Minister Raila Odinga 10 Principal Secretary (PS)positions in government.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now says President William Ruto has agreed to give former Prime Minister Raila Odinga 10 Principal Secretary (PS) positions in government.
Speaking on Monday, March 17 during an interview at Kameme FM, Gachagua claimed that the ODM leader asked for 15 slots but President Ruto agreed to give him 10.
The former Deputy President noted that the slots would likely be taken from the 15 positions he had negotiated when the Kenya Kwanza government was formed.
“I negotiated 15 PS positions for Mt Kenya. Raila has now asked for 15 PS seats and Ruto has agreed to 10, it is our people who will give way. What worries me is that it is one of us from Kikuyu taking minutes on how our people will be persecuted,” Gachagua stated.
His remarks come days after President Ruto and Odinga signed a memorandum of understanding at KICC, signaling an endeavor to work together in one government.
