President Ruto makes appointments to the Affordable Housing Board and the Kenya Vision 20230 Delivery Board.
President William Ruto has appointed Jeremiah Ndambuki Simu as the chairperson of the Affordable Housing Board.
In a gazette notice on Friday, July 5, President Ruto announced that Simu will serve in the position for three years.
He will replace Linda Nkatha Gichuyia whose appointment was revoked by the Head of State.
“I, William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appoint Jeremiah Ndambuki Simu to be the Chairperson of the Affordable Housing Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 5th July 2024. The appointment of Linda Nkatha Gichuyia (Dr.) is revoked,” read the notice in part.

At the same time, President Ruto appointed Emmanuel Kombe Nzai as the chairperson of the Kenya Vision 20230 Delivery Board.
Nzai will serve in the position for three years effective July 5, 2024.
“I, William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appoint Emmanuel Kombe Nzai to be the Chairperson of the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 5th July 2024,” the notice stated.
In other appointments, Lands CS Alice Wahome has appointed Catherine Wanjiku Munyi to be a member of the National Construction Authority Board, for a period of three years.
CS Wahome also appointed Elizabeth Wanjiru Mburu as a member of the Physical Planners Registration Board, for three years.
