Sonko sends Raila and Kalonzo a chilling message over the planned Monday mass action as he urges the wiper leader to stay away

Sonko sends Raila and Kalonzo a chilling message over the planned Monday mass action as he urges the wiper leader to stay away.

In response to the massive protests that the Azimio Wing is planning to stage on Monday, March 20, 2023, former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko delivered a message to Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Sonko warned Raila on social media that he wouldn’t continue to threaten President William Ruto, saying that this time it wouldn’t be business as usual.

Sonko also issued a warning to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to avoid the Azimio demonstrations.

“You riddle man, you can’t and you will not keep on intimidating the Commander in Chief of all the defence forces; Kenya army, Kenya Navy, and Kenya Airforce. I swear this time round……… Kalonzo don’t join the maandamano just go to Tseikuru or Yatta and relax nikubaya,” Sonko claimed.

Sonko’s messages come after Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna claimed that there is a plan to assassinate Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga.

In an interview with Citizen TV on Thursday, March 16, Sifuna said that the deputy president’s comments that he would deal with the former prime minister definitively signify an assassination conspiracy.

However, Raila has insisted that he will continue with his mass action plans despite alleged threats from the government.

Speaking in Nakuru during Azimio’s public rally on 16, Thursday, the ODM supremo claimed that he was ready to lead his troops into and within the streets of Nairobi to peaceful protests over the skyrocketing cost of living and the selection of New IEBC among other demands that they had forwarded to the Kenya Kwanza government, but failed to honour.
