Moses Kuria revealed that he received a message from a Kenyan who was offering him a job in a mortuary after he was sacked from cabinet.
Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has disclosed that calls have dried up since he was sacked as a cabinet secretary.
Speaking during an interview on Monday, August 12, Kuria mentioned that calls have significantly reduced since he was shown the exit door from the cabinet by President William Ruto.
“The calls have dried up. Twice I have had the temptation of taking the phone to the fundi, nini mbaya. No calls compared to when I was a cabinet secretary. Life is an experience and it is not easy,” Kuria stated.
The former Legislator also revealed that he received a message from a Kenyan who was offering him a job in a mortuary.
“Somebody sent me a message on my phone offering me a job ati hey niaje mzito kuna job hapa kwa mortuary, unaonaje? Utaichukua? It’s harsh, it’s terrible. There’s a particular media house which has dedicated 10 minutes of their time every morning to trolling me. It is not easy. One of them is a bishop in a media house,” remarked Kuria.

The former CS also says he speaks a lot to the President despite not being retained in the newly appointed cabinet.
At the same time, Kuria, who touched on a variety of issues, said that he was worried that 12 million Kenyans had run away with the Hustler fund money.
“What worries me more is that we have disbursed the Hustler Fund to 21 million Kenyans, 12 million of whom have run away with the money and the remaining ones have difficulty paying. We have only 2 million super borrowers on that fund. Oparanya has to get from not believing in it to believing in it to really doing some work,” said Kuria.
On his next step after he was sacked, the former CS said that he wanted to lead a private life and that might be his last interview.
