Woman nursing injuries after being stabbed during a church service by her ex-husband in Migori.
Narrating her ordeal, the woman identified as Risper Akoth, who is currently hospitalized at Migori Level 4 Hospital said the man, with whom they parted ways several months ago, found her seated in church and stabled her before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is also a member of the church.
She said the man threatened to kill her after the attack.
Crying for justice, the woman says the other members of the church have not intervened over the matter.

Risper says she cut links with the suspect several months ago after he threw her out of his house and she has even got married elsewhere.
Her current husband Joshua Otieno says the attack occurred when he had just left the church shortly.
Otieno rushed to the scene of the attack to check on her wife but was advised to refrain.
Meanwhile, the victim’s father, Julius Nyambia, has called for speedy investigation and arrest of the suspect as they would want to know the motive of the attack.
