Uhuru makes first public appearance after raid on Kenyatta farm as he attends Easter Church service in Mombasa.
On April 9, former president Uhuru Kenyatta showed up for church at St. Francis Catholic Church in Nyali, Mombasa.
As Christians throughout the world observed Easter Sunday, images posted online showed the former president bowing in prayer alongside other churchgoers.
He clapped along as the choir and the rest of the congregation sang, giving off an upbeat aura.
That was the former president’s first appearance in public following the former prime minister’s acceptance of President Ruto’s invitation for debate on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) constitution on April 2.

Uhuru was also caught in the thick of the demonstrations after protesters invaded his Northlands City farm cutting down trees and stealing 1,400 heads of sheep valued approximately at Ksh70 million.
In a separate incident on Thursday, March 30, individuals attempted to raid Kedong Ranch associated with former President Uhuru Kenyatta at the border of Narok East.
Amidst all the tension on the raid, Uhuru has seemingly been quiet.
