Chelsea achieve a historic feat as Roman Abramovich applauds the team but not too happy

Roman Abramovich applauded Chelsea’s win in the Club World Cup final against Palmeiras but seemed not happy.

Chelsea has won the Club World Cup, completing a gap in their resume and elevating the Blues to the elite tier of European teams.

At least once, the Blues have won the Champions League, Europa League (and its old incarnation, the Cup Winners’ Cup), Super Cup, and Club World Cup, in addition to their Premier Leagues, FA Cups, and League Cups.

Ajax, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus are among the teams that have completed the set.

And Chelsea reaching this level is a significant moment. The question is – where do we go next?

After conquering the world, it’s time to turn their attention to the Premier League and try to break the developing Man City-Liverpool duopoly atop the Premier League standings.

Roman Abramovich applauds the team from stands

Club owner Roman Abramovich was watching from the stands, and while he celebrated Kai Havertz’s penalty conversion to put his team ahead, his expression conveyed a different message.
