Government through the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection announces nursing job opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Labor said in a statement on Tuesday, January 2, that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has indicated its desire to hire more healthcare workers from Kenya through a number of KSA organizations.
“In view of the above, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection requests for applications from qualified Kenyans for employment in the KSA as General Nurses and Personal Assistant/Health Care Assistant professionals,” the statement read in part.
To be eligible for the jobs one must be a Kenyan citizen, female, hold a bachelor of science degree /diploma/certificate in Nursing, be a registered and licensed member of the Nursing Council of Kenya, and be in good standing and have a valid police clearance certificate.
In addition, they must be in good health, be between the ages of 22 and 35, speak and write English fluently, and possess a current Kenyan passport.
Nurses with a degree should have worked for at least two years, whilst those holding a diploma should be recent graduates with no prior experience.

Nurses with Certificate qualification should have a minimum of one year of continuous work experience.
The applicants should provide valid prometric results and provide the dataflow verification report for the education certificate and Nursing Council License.
The nurses will be given a two-year contract which is renewable and a minimum monthly salary of 3,500.00 SAR (Ksh 146, 717) for degree holders, 3,000.00 SAR(Ksh 125,757) for diploma holders, and 2,200.00 SAR (Ksh 92,200) for certificate holders.
