Former Uhuru Kenyatta advisor, Mutahi Ngunyi warns Mt Kenya leaders against uniting to fight Ruto.
Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has warned the vote-rich region against uniting to unseat Ruto in the 2027 General Election.
In a statement on Wednesday, May 18, Ngunyi stated that the adventure had already been compromised as the scheme was revealed early.
The lawyer claimed that the wider gema is in two, and he would lead the charge against the calls for unity.
“Mountain Kikuyus are uniting to remove Ruto in 2027. Nothing more. Nothing less. This is a foolish suicidal scheme revealed too early. I am a valley Kikuyu and I will lead the rebellion against GEMA unity. Kikuyus are different. Valley Kikuyus will not be used by Mt Kikuyus,” he wrote.

This was coupled with the Limuru 2 meeting, which was organized by opposition politicians led by Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua.
The meeting passed several resolutions, including the birth of a new political outfit to champion the region’s interests.
Calls for the region to unite have been at the centre of both camps, with the DP making his latest appeal to retired president Uhuru Kenyatta.
