Police launch investigations after collapses and dies while playing football in Karen.
According to reports, the 24-year-old student was at the field playing when the incident happened on Monday, June 3 evening.
He was identified as Msen Benjamin Bagu.
Police and his colleague players said the student collapsed during the short break of the match.
It is not clear what triggered the collapse.
He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The cause of the death is yet to be known, police said.
An autopsy was planned on the body to establish the cause of the death, police said.

Elsewhere, a 78-year-old Briton died after an illness in Kilimani area, Nairobi.
The man stayed alone and was discovered weak by a visiting friend on Sunday, June 2, police said.
He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A postmortem was planned on the body to establish the cause of the death, police said.
