Ruto names Raila allies in the ODM party Joho, Mbadi, Oparanya, and Opiyo Wandayi to the cabinet.
President William Ruto has nominated the second batch of Cabinet Secretaries to his government.
The nominees include;
1. John Mbadi- National Treasury
2. Salim Mvurya – Ministry of Trade, Investment and Industry
3. Rebecca Miano- Tourism
4. Opiyo Wandayi- Energy
5. Kipchumba Murkomen- Youth Affairs and Sports

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) was the largest winner in the new cabinet reshuffle with its members taking prime positions in Ruto’s cabinet.
This was despite an earlier statement by ODM that its members would not be part of Ruto’s cabinet.
