KUCCPS Opens Application Portal For University Placement; KCSE Candidates 2021
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the application window for 2021 KCSE candidates to apply for placement or to change their course selections.
All applications and changes must be submitted online, according to KUCCPS, and candidates are recommended to adhere to the June 2 application deadline.
KUCCPS will assess their applications and place them in the universities or colleges of their choosing, taking into account regional balance, performance, and space availability in the selected institutions.
On Friday, May 20, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha instructed KUCCPS to open its portal to provide students adequate time to submit their applications, adding that pupils who received a mean grade of C+ or higher would be placed in universities.
“All the 144,466 Kenyans with C+ and above who sat the 2021 KCSE examination are eligible to apply for degree programmes in the 70 universities,” the Education CS stated.
