Manchester United have now shifted their focus to Manu Kone after Ralf Rangnick shortlisted the midfielder.
Ten Hag reportedly began assessing options from Ralf Rangnick’s shortlist. And Kone has stood out from the list that the former interim boss put together.
Kone has impressed at Borussia Monchengladbach featuring 27 times during his debut season in the Bundesliga.

Ralf Rangnick had reportedly identified four potential transfer targets for the Red Devils, with the German pinpointing midfield as an area of weakness.
According to ESPN, RB Leipzig‘s Amadou Haidara, Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Leeds United‘s Kalvin Phillips have all been identified as possible additions in midfield.
Haidara is believed to have a £33m release clause in his current deal and is likely to be the most attainable target during the January transfer window.
BVB are said to be determined to keep hold of Bellingham, while Leeds would be reluctant to sell Phillips, who has also been linked with Liverpool, and Man City.
