Fatal crash involving presidential press car leaves one dead, four injured
One person has been killed and four others seriously injured in an accident involving a presidential press vehicle at Ainabkoi Junction along the Eldoret–Nakuru highway.
The accident occurred at about 7pm on Sunday.
A Prado heading towards Nakuru collided head-on with a Voxy that was travelling to Eldoret.
Uasin Gishu Police Commander Benjamin Mwanthi confirmed that the driver of the Voxy died on the spot.
Two of the injured were women who were travelling with two other male passengers in the Voxy.

He said the injured, including the driver of the Prado, were taken to hospital in Eldoret.
Witnesses said one of the vehicles was overtaking at high speed, leading to the head-on collision.
All the injured are reported to be in stable condition.
