Gachagua boards a commercial Kenya Airways plane to Mombasa and carries his own luggage.

Deputy President Gachagua on Tuesday boarded a Kenya Airways commercial flight to Mombasa.

Gachagua is expected to officially open the International Scientific Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya.

The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Sarova Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa County.

The conference opened on June 10, 2024, and will continue until Friday, June 14.

This comes amid claims that he no longer has access to military choppers.

On Sunday, he arrived late in Nakuru for the Akorino National Prayer Conference and apologized to the President, claiming he had transport challenges.

He found the event underway after arriving nearly one hour after President Ruto and his entourage.

A few weeks ago, he was also denied a military chopper during Madaraka Day Celebrations in Bungoma, forcing him to hire a private chopper.
