Education PS Belio Kipsang announces 2022 KCSE release dates and form one placement.
The results of the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) would be issued by January 23, 2023, according to Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang.
On Friday, December 23, the Education PS that the ministry has already developed a strategy to ensure that the results are made public before the start of the new school year.
Kipsang disclosed that a number of teachers were working on marking the tests, which were completed on Friday.
“As we mark the end of the national examinations 2022 cycle today, all the examination handlers and examiners will have a busy Christmas as the marking of KCSE 2022 will start immediately,” he stated.

In regard to Form One selection, the PS indicated that the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates would know their high schools on January 16, 2023.
He assured them that there would be no discrimination and that the procedure would be transparent.
“We want to assure all parents, guardians, and learners that we shall be transparent, fair and we shall do the right thing for each child to get a school that they chose and deserve to be there,” he stated
In addition, Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) CEO, David Njeng’ere, intimated that the body had been fair in the marking of KCPE promising that the same would be replicated to the KCSE students.
“We are committed to ensuring whatever marks our children get is exactly what is extracted from the answer sheet.
“Our examiners will work with diligence to ensure our children get what they deserve as they have done their part to give their best,” Kipsang echoed.
