Fabrizio Romano hints Arsenal transfer for Mykhaylo Mudryk as the only club for the attacker’s move in the January window.

Mykhaylo Mudryk is still up for transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk, and according to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal is the only team still interested.

The international player from Ukraine has established himself as an exceptional young talent this year, and it appears probable that he will soon earn a significant transfer.

Arsenal’s January transfer target makes demands to Mikel Arteta before he could sign

Fans of Arsenal will undoubtedly hope that they can secure Mudryk as a significant acquisition to bolster their front three. Mikel Arteta’s team already appeared to be lacking in this area before the devastating loss of Gabriel Jesus to a protracted injury.

The transfer news analyst made it clear in his article for Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing that Everton and Brentford were also interested in Mudryk during the summer, in addition to Arsenal’s push to sign him.

The 21-year-old is undoubtedly too expensive for teams like that right now, and Romano made no mention of any rivals vying for his services.

“At the moment it’s Arsenal pushing for Mykhaylo Mudryk but there’s still no advanced negotiation on the fee,” Romano said.

“Everton and Brentford wanted him in the summer, Brentford were actually the first European club to move for Mudryk many months ago thanks to Lee Dykes who wanted him.”
