Full Chelsea squad vs Newcastle revealed with duo potentially set to miss out

Chelsea squad vs Newcastle revealed with duo potentially set to miss out Cesar Azpilicueta and Christian Pulisic.

The Blues have close to a full squad available, though two players could miss out due to illness

The Blues consolidated third-place in the league with a 3-1 win in East Anglia last time out, with goals from Trevoh Chalobah, Mason Mount, and Kai Havertz securing all three points.

They now welcome the Magpies to Stamford Bridge, looking to continue their positive run of form.

Eddie Howe’s men are one of the in-form sides in the league at the moment, though, with a nine-game unbeaten run in the Premier League lifting them from the foot of the table to 14th and relatively clear from any relegation concerns.

After making a number of signings under their new ownership, Newcastle have bounced back and are yet to taste defeat since the turn of the new year.

It’s a difficult task for the Blues to deal with, as head coach Thomas Tuchel may have to juggle his squad slightly given the quick turnaround from Norwich and then a Champions League tie with Lille on Wednesday.

Nonetheless, the side will be looking to continue their run of good form heading into the latter stages of the season with the guarantee of a top four finish.
