President William Ruto revealed that he first knew he was going to lead Kenya in 2006.
Speaking on Sunday at the Benny Hinn-Mega crusade, he said he received the revelation then during the Asuza 100 celebration of revival in the US.
“I will say this today here in Nyayo Stadium. That the first time I got a revelation that I was going to be President in Kenya is in 2006 and during the Asuza 100 Celebration of Revival in the US and I was there with my wife and many others,” he said.
“I couldn’t believe that the son from Sugoi will one day be the president of Kenya.”
The President said he was certain that God would yet again favour Kenya with another revelation and revival, to help make it a great nation globally.
“I can already see a great country in Kenya going into the future. And it is because we believe in the Living God,” he said.

At the same time, he revealed that he had held a meeting with the US Ambassador who informed him that President Joe Biden had invited him for a state visit.
“She came to tell me what you already know the President of the US has invited the President of Kenya for a state visit, one of a kind. In 20 years, no African president has had a state visit in the US,” he said.
Before leaving the podium, he encouraged congregants with the Scriptures from Deuteronomy 15:6.
It reads, “For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.”
