“I want to tell Arsenal fans,” Fabrizio drops huge exciting Arsenal news
Fabrizio Romano has dropped huge, exciting transfer news on the expected business at Arsenal.
Fabrizio Romano revealed that Arsenal expects to make a lot of money this summer when speaking on the Que Golazo YouTube channel.
Despite the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Folarin Balogun, Arsenal did not make any new signings last month, leaving Mikel Arteta with only two first-team forwards in the form of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, the latter of whom has only five Premier League goals in his career.
The Gunners may be looking forward to the summer, since both of their attackers are out of contract at the end of the season, signaling a major reshaping at the Emirates Stadium, particularly in the attacking area.
Romano has told Gunners fans not to panic ahead of the summer transfer window.
“I want to tell Arsenal fans don’t worry, that the summer will be busy for Arsenal.
“They will go for a new midfielder, a new top striker, so don’t worry. They will do something important.”
Arsenal’s board has clearly backed Mikel Arteta in terms of moving players on and replacing them with younger ones ready to fight and build something promising at the Emirates, with the departures of Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in recent months, and the arrivals of Aaron Ramsdale and Ben White demonstrating a clear plan for the future.
Arsenal fans may be excited by the fact that their owner, Stan Kroenke, recently saw his LA Rams team win the Super Bowl after throwing a lot of money and high-caliber and experienced players at them – proving that money can buy success – and he may well look to do the same with Arsenal this summer, with players like Alexander Isak and Dominic Calvert-Lewin linked with big-money moves.
It remains to be seen whether he will treat Arsenal the same way he treats his NFL team, but lots of transfer action appears to be on the cards ahead of the summer.
