Speaking on Wednesday, Guyo’s lawyer Benjamin Njeru confirmed that the youth, who is sickly and nursing a pregnant wife, went missing on Saturday and is yet to be traced.
His lawyers subsequently filed a petition at the High Court of Isiolo and named IG Japhet Koome as the first respondent alongside the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), the Attorney General, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and the National Intelligence Service (NIS).
According to the petition, Guyo was abducted in Isiolo Town and bundled into a black Prado by heavily armed gunmen believed to be police officers.
