Kabogo Criticise Ruto Over Name-Calling Raila in their Campaigns

Kabogo Criticise Ruto Over Name-Calling Azimio Presidential Raila Odinga in their Campaigns.

William Kabogo has called out Dp Ruto and his counterparts in the Kenya Kwanza alliance over their name-calling campaign strategy.

The Kiambu gubernatorial aspirant argued that they were focusing more on name calling and ignoring important issues affecting Kenyans.

Speaking during an interview on K24 TV on Tuesday, May 24, Kabogo cited the non-beneficial slogans the Deputy President William Ruto’s team uses to refer to the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga.

In equal measure, he also called out the Azimio camp for name-calling.

The Tujibebe party leader said campaign tactics need to change as they were not giving solutions to problems faced by Kenyans.

Ruto and his team have referred to Raila Odinga as ‘mtu wa kitendawili’, and more focused on telling stories.

The Azimio team has also hit out at Kenya Kwanza as a corrupt enterprise.

“We have really disorganized our politics in Kenya such that it is about insults. When will we discuss issues, policies, and ideas that will take Kenya to the next level?

“From this side, you will hear ‘mtu wa kitendawili’, and from that side, you will hear about corruption. Where will this take us as a country? When will we be like other countries where after elections, people go back to build their nation. We have serious problems with our language,” he stated.

Furthermore, Kabogo clarified he was not seeking a share in Ruto’s government, adding that he had a different agreement with the DP.

“I was asked what I would get after Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula share 30 percent, and I said that I did not go there to share seats. They said there will be a top-up to counties, it will be shared in accordance with the population

“If I feel it is not happening, I will shout to the top of my voice. That promise has been made in public and it must be in writing so that resources follow people,” he stated.
