Kenya Airways (KQ) has disclosed that certain individuals who are impersonating the airline are reaching out to passengers requesting their flight details.
In a statement on Wednesday, January 22, KQ warned passengers against giving out their flight details to the individuals who posed as customer care representatives.
The airline maintained that in case of any flight changes, it notified the affected customers through its official numbers.
“Beware of individuals impersonating Kenya Airways as customer care representatives requesting your travel details/itinerary.
“In case of a change to your flight schedule, KQ will only contact you via +254 711 024747 or WhatsApp via +254 705474747. Our official social media handles are: X (Twitter): @kenyaairways and @kqsupport, Facebook: @KenyaAirways, Instagram: @OfficialKenyaAirways and LinkedIn: @KenyaAirways. Our customer care email address is: customer.relations@kenya-airways.com,” KQ remarked.

The national carrier also encouraged passengers who wished to update their booking details to do so through its website.
“Should you need to update your booking contact details (email and phone number) directly with KQ, you can do so via our website under the Book & Manage tab: https://www.kenya-airways.com/en-ke/book-manage/manage-booking/” KQ stated.
Meanwhile, the airline asked members of the public to report any suspicious activities to the airline’s team via +254 741111485 or email at customer.relations@kenya-airways.com.
