Kylian Mbappe could still snub Real Madrid for Anfield after the Champions League shock exit according to reports.

Following PSG’s Champions League exit, both Liverpool and Real Madrid are still interested in signing Kylian Mbappe.

Liverpool are still in the running to sign Kylian Mbappe, the PSG sensation, with Real Madrid.

As Paris Saint-Germain roared to a 2-0 aggregate lead over Los Blancos at the Bernabeu, the 23-year-old was excellent in the first half.

Mbappe had two more goals disallowed for offside, including an incredible left-footed finish in which he stepped over the ball as Thibaut Courtois scrambled to his feet.

However, Real rallied back to win the game in the second half, with Mbappe’s international striking partner Karim Benzema scoring a late hat-trick to seal the tie and advance Real to the quarter-finals.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Mbappe is still interested in playing in the Premier League, and despite Real Madrid demonstrating why he would fit in at the Bernabeu last night, the Reds aren’t out of the running for his signature.

The Merseysiders may have recently acquired Luis Diaz, but with the futures of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah still up in the air, there could be room for another superstar at Anfield.

Mbappe is known to be a tremendous fan of Jurgen Klopp, and the sentiment is supposed to be mutual.

The Frenchman reportedly urged that Real Madrid sign Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in order for him to join.

Transfermarkt estimates Mbappe’s worth to be around £144 million.
