Man Utd fans beg Elon Musk to buy club from Glazers after £35bn Twitter takeover
Elon Musk Has Been Asked By Manchester United Fans To Buy The Club From Glazers Family After Twitter Take Over.
Manchester United fans on Twitter have managed to make the hashtag “buy Manchester United” trend in the United Kingdom by pleading with Elon Musk to buy the club from the Glazers.
Musk, the world’s richest man, just sealed a lucrative £35 billion agreement to purchase the app, and now he’s teased that Coca-Cola is next on his hit-list…
It has spurred United supporters to demand that he acquire the club, since they appear to consider a change of ownership as the best way to return to the top.
The Glazers are rumored to be looking for roughly £4 billion to give over the keys to Old Trafford.
The Glazers are said to have previously turned down a £1.5 billion bid from a Saudi consortium.
Last October, the Americans planned to sell up to £137 million worth of their stock.

Anti-Glazer protests occurred just last week, when a crowd of over 1000 fans forced the club’s megastore to close ahead of the 3-2 home win against Norwich.
A group named ‘The 1958’ organized the protest, which saw a large number of United fans descend on the stadium’s Munich tunnel, where the protest was forced to a halt.
James Melville (@JamesMelville) tweeted Musk: “Can you also buy Manchester United FC and put a decent team back in?”
Another (@Yungtambi1) wrote: “@elonmusk could you please buy Manchester United football club? top club turned to shambles, we’d need someone like you who actually cares about how well a business is doing.”
A third (@_Indianbeast6) said: “Dear Mr.Elon Musk, can you please buy Manchester United? Our owners right now are frauds and are ruining this great football club. #pleasesaveus”
One fan (@MatsRmufc) even started a petition on change.org, writing: “Elon Musk please buy Manchester United! – Sign the Petition!”
Meanwhile, Musk, who has 87m followers on Twitter, has been teasing about his next investment.
He tweeted “Listen, I can’t do miracles ok,” in response to a fake tweet that read: “Now I’m going to buy McDonald’s and fix all of the ice cream machines.”
